For Aires, ministry is ultimately about being a missionary disciple: paying attention to where God is present, recognizing where God is calling, and responding with courage and joy.
His experience as a missionary in Ghana taught him that mission begins with encounter. His journey along the Camino de Santiago continues to teach him that being a pilgrim means remaining open to where the road leads, trusting that God meets us along the way.
These experiences shape the way Aires speaks, teaches, leads retreats, and accompanies others. Whether he is addressing thousands at a conference or sitting with a small group of students, his invitation is the same: notice, respond, and rise.
