Since 2020, Aires has served as Director of Campus Ministry at Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Washington, where he works at the intersection of Catholic education, formation, retreat ministry, and the everyday lives of young people.
He has spent more than two decades working in Catholic parishes and schools, serving young people, educators, families, and ministry leaders through speaking, retreats, formation, worship, and community life.
His approach is rooted in Scripture and Catholic theology, but always connected to real life: the questions people carry, the relationships that shape them, and the places where God is already present.

Before the school halls, conference stages, and retreats, Aires spent three years as a missionary around the world. From 2001 to 2004, he worked alongside communities experiencing poverty, led retreats, built homes, gave keynotes, and led worship.

Aires is a husband and father of four boys. His years as a missionary and his pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago continue to shape the way he approaches faith, ministry, and speaking.

Away from the microphone, Aires plays guitar, rides his bike, reads fantasy novels, and occasionally plays far too much Pokémon Go.
